SQL Database Developer


About the Role

One of our central business areas is the development of a growing bank alliance supported by our own software system. In an environment of rapid growth, we require a SQL Database Developer to support this work from inception, through to realization and support for integrated financial systems platforms.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Design and further expansion of the core banking system in an integrated development environment
  • Planning and development of complex database queries
  • Conception of the software for international usage
  • Self-dependant design of database structures
  • Interface design to third party systems
  • Analysis and optimization of databases
  • Test and documentation of the software components
  • Support to the network banks in the introduction and operation of the software

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Microsoft SQL database programming
  • Extensive knowledge in planning and design of complex database structures
  • Experience in software development projects
  • Willingness to get into special development environments
  • Knowledge in Microsoft .Net is an advantage
  • Very good command of English desirable
  • Willingness to travel and work in transition and developing countries for a few weeks at a time
