Software Tester


About the Role

One of our central business areas is the development of a growing bank alliance supported by our own software system. In an environment of rapid growth, we require a Software Tester to support this work from inception, through to realization and support for integrated financial systems platforms.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Self dependent execution of software tests by designing tools for test automation or performing manual tests
  • Conception, performance and optimization of test procedures in the context of web and Microsoft Windows applications
  • Development and assembly of test cases in collaboration with the business units and software developers
  • Design and realization of tests for release changes of large software packages
  • Close interaction with software developers in quality assurance
  • Support to the network banks in the introduction and operation of the software

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in software testing
  • Practical experience in planning and execution of test procedures
  • Knowledge in programming of web-applications as well as programming of interfaces in Microsoft Windows environments
  • Experience with test automation and with the use of test tools
  • Knowledge of software development or testing in banking business is an advantage
  • Very good command of English desirable
  • Willingness to travel and work in transition and developing countries for a few weeks at a time
